Formed in 2016, P.F. Phillip and The Night Riders are an indie rock band from East London. United by their love of guitar music, pasta and cheap American comedy films, the band moved into a flat together. They've been playing shows around London, in traditional music venues like The Camden Assembly, The Finsbury, The Troubadour and The Old Queens Head, as well as other cities in the UK.
Last year the band released their self-recorded, self-produced, debut single, “Losing Touch”. The song, a fast-paced, modern-age indie rock anthem, is a bittersweet account of the end of a relationship that couldn’t last, and the mixed feelings and emotions that go with it.
The band is now promoting the release of their new single, ‘Your Lips Are For Kissing’, an old-school rock ballad that eventually explodes into a stadium-worthy chorus, exploring another side of P.F.’s songwriting, a more tender and introspective one, to gracefully counterbalance its predecessor.
It was released on March 23 on all major streaming platforms.
